Resident Service Coordinators Dedicated to Care

Many of our staff members say their jobs sometimes make them feel selfish because they get so much more satisfaction from helping others. These are the type of team members we look for–individuals who have a genuine passion about caring for older adults. Our team members are paid competitive wages and have previous experience caring for older adults. We are able to recruit certified nursing assistance, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses and occupational therapists to our team. Nationally, the average monthly turnover for staffing is about 75%. In the past, our operational model yields a turnover as low as .08% a month.

  • Resident’s care needs are assessed every six months and we discuss how each individual resident is adjusting to American Grand. We review medical care, social and emotional issues and make changes as needed. As the care increases the staff-to-resident ratio increases.
  • Staff is on duty 24 hours a day. When a resident has ongoing medical needs, our staff is supported by a team of licensed home health care nurses which allows us to provide more personalized attention.
  • We provide rehabilitation services that include on-site physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our goal is to help each resident enjoy life to the fullest and regain the highest possible level of independence. We evaluate therapy needs after residents join us with baseline screening and also review Medicare eligibility for treatment.
